What are the safety precautions of GirlfriendCircles?

First, you are in charge of who can access your profile: you can let all members find you, only those who have been verified by other members in ConnectingCircles or limit it to only the women you’ve met at events. Additionally, our community goes beyond the safety of the average social networking site since we encourage all our members to participate in a ConnectingCircle—which means you’re meeting other women in group settings in public places. Our hope is that everyone you meet feels safe and sincere, but should you ever feel that someone violates our safety tips, please let us know and we’ll take appropriate measures!

What if I sign up and discover that there aren’t many members in my area?

First, we’ll tell you before you sign up if we feel we have enough options for you in your age & area—if not, we’ll offer you a free membership. Third, we encourage everyone to invite their friends across the country so we can connect girlfriends with those who are looking for them! If we can’t match you—we’ll let you know in two weeks. What does the membership price cover?

Your subscription provides you with unlimited use of GirlFriendCircles.com for the length of time you purchase (6 or 12 months) ($29.95 for 6 months or $49.95 for 1 year). Unlike a dating site where you may not need the dating services once you meet “the one,” we will continue to not only provide opportunities to meet more friends (through our ever-changing local calendar of events, interest-based groups and personals) but we will also help ensure that those times together with current friends are easy to make happen. Additional costs depend upon the activities you do (i.e. buying coffee at the café, paying for the movie ticket, etc).
