How GFC Works: What to expect when you join

Because the GirlFriendCircles community is different from any other out there we
want to describe our unique ConnectingCircle process to you. Of course, nothing
is better than actually experiencing this popular experience, but we want you to
have a feel for how we introduce you to women and inspire friendship.
|
|
|
|
Join: When you join GFC you are joining a community.
By creating your GFC profile you have just become a GirlFriend with an expanding
circle of friends because we immediately start the process of creating your ConnectingCircle
with other potential girlfriends in your local community. (Plus, you can start searching
and connecting on your own too!)
|
|
Get matched: Your profile information will provide
us with the information we need to create the ConnectingCircle match comprised 4-6
women (with no more than a 10-year age spread) who can all meet at the same time
at a local café as close to your zip code as possible (no further than 20 miles).
|
|
Confirm your attendance: Within two weeks of joining
GFC, we will notify you (via email) of your ConnectingCircle information (date,
time, café location). RSVP if you can come! (We’ll invite you to many ConnectingCircles
through the length of your membership!)
|
|
Attend your ConnectingCircle: You will choose one of
your favorite GFC sharing questions that
you will initiate with the others that are matched in your ConnectingCircle during
the 1 ½ hour timeframe. The questions are designed to help you get to know each
other easily while only sharing what you feel comfortable revealing about yourself.
With your favorite café drink in hand, your time together will be filled with laughter,
honesty and structure as you will each answer as many questions as there are girls
in your Circle. You will leave feeling known, with each person sharing and learning.

Participate in the GFC Community: You will have full
access to all of the GFC “Circles:” CalendarCircles, ClassifiedCircles and ChooseMyCircles.
You can initiate/attend any local calendar meet-up event, start/join any club, search
profiles and find your own friends or post/reply to any request for a specific friend.
It’s incredibly easy to find friends in the ways that best fit your schedule, preferences
and style.

The ConnectingCircles are a huge hit because we immediately create an experience
for you that effectively, simply, and safely helps foster meaningful connection
with other women in your local community. We encourage all women to attend several
of these effective get-togethers. You don’t have to initiate email contact with
a stranger or work the crowds at a networking happy hour, simply join our community
and you’ll be making friends in a matter of weeks.
